WINNERS AT THE GRAMMY’S 2014


The show was hosted by returning host LL Cool J. Major winners at the 2014 Grammys included artists such as Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Daft Punk and Lorde.

Daft Punk took home Album of the Year for “Random Access Memories.” The album also won Best Dance/Electronica Album. The French robot duo also took home Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky,” their collaboration with Pharrell Williams.

Macklemore & Ryan won a total of four awards including Best Rap Song, Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for “Thrift Shop.”

During the duo’s performance of “Same Love,” 33 straight and same sex couples appeared on stage and got married while Queen Latifah presided over the ceremonies.

Newcomer Lorde took home two Grammys for her song “Royals,” one for Song of the Year and one for Best Pop Solo Performance.

“Thank you everyone who has let this song explode, because it’s been mental,” the 17-year-old singer said in her acceptance speech for Song of the Year.
